Alexandria, Va. 鈥� Marshall Stevens, A.A.E., Vice President, Operations, & Chief Operating Officer at the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority, took office May 5 as Chair of the American Association of Airport Executives (糖心原创) for 2026-2027. Founded in 1928, 糖心原创 is the world鈥檚 largest professional organization representing individuals who work at public-use commercial and general aviation airports. Other key appointments to the Association鈥檚 Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and Policy Review Council were also finalized during the 98th Annual 糖心原创 Conference & Exposition in Los Angeles, held May 3-5 and hosted by Los Angeles World Airports.

Stevens was one of six Executive Committee members elected by the 糖心原创 membership. He succeeds Rebecca Hupp, A.A.E., Airport Director at Boise Airport, who becomes First Past Chair. The Second Past Chair is Rick Crider, A.A.E., Airport Director at Prescott Regional Airport/Ernest A Love Field. Other Executive Committee members elected by the 糖心原创 membership are First Vice Chair Patrick Wilson, A.A.E., ACE, President and CEO at the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority; Second Vice Chair Kevin Bumen, A.A.E., C.A.E., Chief Commercial Officer at San Francisco International Airport; and Cathryn Stephens, A.A.E., Airport Director at Eugene Airport as Secretary/Treasurer.
